Testing & certification

Test reports and certification, checked before you order.

LYBAM GLOBAL looks for products that already carry the right test documents for your market, reviews every report against the exact model, coordinates testing with accredited laboratories and checks the factory behind the paperwork. LYBAM does not issue certificates: the accredited laboratories do.

What we handle

From the first shortlist to the document pack.

Product selection by compliance

We look for products that already carry test reports for your destination market, and say plainly when a product does not, so a project does not start with a product that cannot be sold there.

A test plan for your market

The EU, UK, US and other markets ask for different documents. We turn your destination and product category into a clear list: standards, samples, laboratory options, cost and timing, all confirmed in the quotation.

Accredited laboratories

We coordinate sample submission and testing with third-party laboratories such as SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, TÜV and CNAS-accredited laboratories in China. LYBAM is not affiliated with these laboratories; the choice is made per project.

Report review, line by line

We check what a document actually covers: the model, the standard and its edition, the test date, the sample, the laboratory's accreditation and the conclusion. A report for one model is never assumed to cover another.

Factory checks

Capability, quality system and production control before the first order, and a re-check when a factory changes materials or components.

Pre-shipment inspection

Production samples compared with the approved sample and the tested sample before shipment, with the document pack ready for customs and for your retailer.

By market

Which documents, for which market.

The first question on every project: where will the product be sold, and who has to accept the paperwork?

Sample test documents

The kind of evidence we collect and review.

Real third-party documents from products LYBAM has sourced, with every name, address, model, item and report number removed. Select a document to enlarge it.

Each document covers only the product that was tested. These samples show the kind of evidence we collect and are not a certification of any product on this site; certification status is stated per product and per document and is confirmed in the quotation. The laboratory names and marks belong to their owners; LYBAM is not affiliated with these laboratories and does not issue certificates.

Questions

Questions about test reports and certification.

Does LYBAM issue certificates?

No. Test reports and certificates are issued by accredited laboratories and certification bodies. LYBAM looks for products with the right documents, coordinates testing, reviews the documents against the exact model and follows up with the factory.

What do CNAS and ILAC-MRA on a report mean?

CNAS is China's national accreditation body. The ILAC-MRA mark means the laboratory is accredited by a body that is a signatory of the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement. Whether an importer, retailer or authority accepts a particular report is decided by that importer, retailer or authority.

Can a report for one product be used for another?

Not automatically. A report covers the tested model, materials, components and edition of the standard. A change of material, component or design can need a new test or a review of the differences.

Can I see the real documents for a product?

For a specific product, the documents that exist are reviewed with you in the quotation and shared where the factory and the laboratory allow it. Certification status is stated per product and per document, never as a blanket badge.

Why are names and numbers removed from the samples?

The samples show the kind of evidence we collect, not a product on this site. The originals belong to the factories that commissioned them, so names, addresses, model, item and report numbers are removed.

Do the sample documents mean every product on the site is certified?

No. Each product page states what is confirmed for that product. Where a document is not yet confirmed, the page says so and the document is requested in the quotation.
